Different kinds of day. The western shore and the open eastern coast offer different experiences. Clear water in a photograph does not establish swimming safety. Make your choice around sea conditions, water access, shade, toilets, and how you will get back. ### For an easy beach day A staffed beach venue may make transport, food, shade and facilities easier to organize. Confirm what admission includes, whether loungers are reserved, and whether the shore is sandy or rocky. ### For a coastal drive The east coast offers broad views and a different side of the island. Treat a stop for the scenery separately from a decision to swim; exposed water can have strong surf and currents. ### For a reef-focused visit Some west-coast entries are rocky rather than soft sand. Ask how you enter and exit, whether equipment and a guide are needed, and what the marine-park rules permit.
